Absolutely disgusting service Sent us a dress with a broken zipper 2 weeks before formal Lied about the condition of the dress on shop page Overcharged for postage Extremely rude over the phone Yelling the whole time Would not let me speak Refused to give me a refund BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Delighted with the dress we got for the school formal at A Formal Affair 👏 Kayla was a gem - nothing was too much trouble and she provided excellent service. They have a wide range of dresses and sizes. We went on a weekday at around 2pm and it was quiet, they were very welcoming and friendly - highly recommended 👍 Thank you! (and its air conditioned! ➕)

Morgan and the team are fantastic at AFA!! I needed a gown for a Beauty Competition and right from my first consultation the ladies were passionate about what they do, giving helpful advice and feedback on the dresses and super generous with their time as I tried on a few. A Formal Affair has a lot of dresses ranging from petite to plus size and every colour in the rainbow. Finding a dress I liked was easier for that reason. They also have a lot of gowns suited to tall people (I am 6 foot and had a lot of options). I would say if you are looking for a dress that you are likely to feel MAGNIFICENT in, go straight to A Formal Affair in Alderly. They have a bridal sister store in Chermside too. Thank you again AFA team!!

The lady Nicola was amazing! She made sure I tried in every colour and every style, , nothing was too much for her to do. We went without appointment and they were happy to help me find a perfect dress!
